Services Module Overview
The Services module is designed for businesses that offer professional services, consultations, or session-based work. Define your service catalog with categories, create reusable package templates, assign packages to clients, and schedule individual sessions with employee assignments.
Services vs Products
While products represent physical goods with inventory tracking, services are intangible offerings billed by time, session, or fixed fee. Each service has a duration, unit price, cost price, tax rate, and optional maximum capacity. Use services for consulting hours, design work, maintenance contracts, and similar offerings.
Service Categories
Organize services into hierarchical categories with parent-child relationships. Categories help you group related services for easier browsing in the catalog and more detailed reporting. Each category can contain sub-categories for multi-level organization.
