Journal Entries

Create and review manual journal entries for custom transactions.

Automatic Entries

Most journal entries are created automatically when you record invoices, payments, expenses, and other transactions. These system-generated entries maintain consistency and reduce manual work.

Manual Journal Entries

For transactions not covered by other modules — such as depreciation, accruals, or owner contributions — create manual journal entries. Each entry must have at least one debit and one credit line, and the totals must balance.

Reviewing and Approving

Journal entries can be reviewed before posting. Draft entries can be edited freely. Once posted, entries are locked to maintain the integrity of your financial records. Corrections require a reversing entry.
